While movements is important our philosophy is different than the traditional approach of chronic cardio and continual exhaustion to achieve the body of your dreams. Rather it is through incorporating movement into your lifestyle and implementing the strategy of Minimum Effective Dose (MED) to reset your metabolism and turn your body into a fat burning machine.

NUTRITION

Food is Medicine
Nutrition is a key foundation to Peak Performance.  Applying the proper nutrition & nutrigenomics (study of the interaction of nutrition and genes) strategy for your life goals.  The Peak Performance Program will help you transition from where you are today to having you realize your body and mind goals.  There are many calorie restriction diets out there but our approach is completely different.  With our whole food, deep nutrition approach you don’t have to starve yourself to get your results.  Rather we design plans that will keep you satisfied and nourish your body with all the key vitamins and minerals necessary for Peak Performance.

MINDFULNESS

Thoughts are Things
When our brains are operating at Peak Performance all the other pieces of the puzzle fall into place.  I believe you need to take time to nourish your mind just like your body and you need to treat it as one of the most important organs of your body.  It is a strong mental foundation that leads an unstoppable mind body combination. Taking time to nurture your mind is a critical leg in the Movement-Nutrition-Midfulness Peak Performance Pyramid.

Why do I need a Health Coach?

Just like the best athletes and business leaders in the world you also need the right coaching and strategy to feel and perform at your peak potential.  You haven’t had a health coach before and your results reflect the do-it-yourself approach attempted by many.  I hear over and over from my clients they use me and the Peak Performance System to give them the correct strategy, be held accountable, and learn how they can take the principles and apply them for the rest of their life.  Most have tried one or several of popular diets that may be backed by well know celebrities and lost some weight only to put it back on after they stopped.  With me as your coach you will receive a detailed customized program for you and we will work together throughout the process to refine and adjust as needed to achieve your Peak Performance.  The hands on approach will deliver fast and sustainable results.     

ABOUT

Husband and father of four.  I was active in my teens and 20s and then got married and my athletic pursuits became coaching my kids and less movement on my part.  In my 30s I tried to eat “good”  but put on an extra 35 pounds.  Trying to follow conventional wisdom didn’t work so I started to embark on my quest for knowledge about nutrition, movement and mindfulness.

I discovered that it is not a one size fits all plan that works.  We have to recognize the Bio-Individuality of each person which also changes over time and is not the same in your 20s-30s-40s-50s-60s-70s-80s-90s and beyond.   As a health coach, I believe that abundant health incorporates both mind and body as a whole person. It is the food on our plates as well as nonfood sources, like relationships, careers, spirituality and physical activity, that truly feed us. The truth is that no one diet works for everyone. How many times have you attempted a diet or workout routine only to achieve minimal or temporary results? Did it leave you feeling discouraged and lost? Understand that we all have different needs, obstacles, and health concerns. The key to achieving your peak performance goals is to follow a plan that is customized for YOU!    My passion is learning and empowering others with that knowledge to transform themselves.

My research has equipped me with extensive, cutting-edge knowledge in  holistic nutrition, relationships, mindfulness, health coaching, prevention, movement and exercise.  In my studies  I learned a great deal about the food industry, innovative coaching methods, lifestyle management techniques, and over 100 dietary theories (including Paleo, jucing, macrobiotics, gluten-free, raw, whole30, elimination,  ketosis, vegan, Atkins, slow carb, DASH, South Beach, Intermittent fasting  and many more).

After the assessment I will create a customized plan for you tailored to your specific requirements with a strategy to incoporate into your current schedule.  Optional specific meal plans and recipes can be created to meet your goals.
